Five of Wands

Five of Wands

The 5 of Wands is a card of conflict, but on a lighter level. It's all about disagreements and hassles. It can also signify competition.

You know the days where lots of little things seem to conspire against you, lots of minor bumps, blocks, irritations and so on. You are just beset by hassles.

In terms of competition, the conflict is at a more playful level. This is not a serious battle, but more like children play fighting. They compete for the sheer joy of it.

Reversed indicates that the rules are being ignored or abandoned. The battle is nastier, people are actually seeking to hurt each other. The sense of fair play turns to bitterness. Has the fire gone out?
