Four of Pentacles

Four of Pentacles

A desire for control leads to possessiveness and control. Change is blocked.

The figure on the card uses the Pentacles to block access to his head, his heart and his feet, to close off his most vital chakras. He is completely insulated from the world. However, he cannot cover his back, so he remains vulnerable. We cannot control everything - we stand in the world as if in a great ocean.

When life has broken down into chaos, the Four indicates a need for structure either through inner control or material force. It is a selfish card, but sometimes you just have to be selfish!

Reversed, the energy is released. It can signify generosity but can also mean we are in a position where we are struggling to hold it together.
